Woop woop!! Starting a painting today. Currently I'm covered in green paint. It is for my department at work. I normally detest landscapes, but there was a really gorgeous photo of a japanese garden in Oregon that I MUST paint! The photo is by `failingjune.

I used to be the 'artist' girl in school. I went to art college and got burnt out after a year. Life went on without me drawing or painting for several years. Now I'm trying to rediscover my abilities and push past the wall of 'I have nothing interesting to tell the world with art'. I still feel that is very much true, but I'm going to try to work on that.

it's crazy...I saw your peacock drawing and I realized that I am getting something almost like this done next month...mine is all in colors and the mountains in the back represent Peru, I was thinking about adding some flowers on there, but most likely Hibiscus...but still, pretty close!
